Fellowship of the Ring

Saw Fellowship of the Ring last night and thought it was really well made. Being a big fan of the books, I tried not to get too hyped up about it, but the movie did not disappoint. There were many things left out of the movie, but that was understandable, and I didn't come away from it wishing that they had done it differently. It was almost three hours long, and if they had tried to put everything in the movie, then I don't think most people could sit through it. Anyway, I highly recommend this movie for both fans of the books, and for people who have never heard of Tolkien.

i also thought the movie was well made. but the 3hr. sit was bad. the beginning was really good. after that i kinda got boring but i guess its ok, since they gotta set the plot. overall its pretty good. just a bit took long.

I saw this yesterday. I tried reading The Hobbit, but well.. I kept falling asleep... so I went in blind. I thought the movie was pretty good, it kept me entertained, and the 3 hours past easily.. didn't even feel that long.... Nice visual effects, but they weren't like all in your face, lame-o ones... good movie.. i look forward to the next two...
