I'm sure this is a stupid question but does anyone know how I can tell IE 5.0 NOT to revert to a cached web page?

I'm getting sick of going to Yahoo sports and when I hit the back button it brings up a page from like 3 weeks ago...

In IE look under tools-internet options. Temporary Internet Files click settings and "Every Visit to the Page"

May slow things down.

Thanks,

I fixed that option you mentioned. I also changed the "days to keep in history" to zero. It seems to be working better, but I'm still seeing some problems when I hit the "back" button.

Maybe I need to get IE 5.5?

it will probably do the same thing - i'm using IE6, and when i use the back button it uses the cached page from a few minutes ago.

You will be able to get a refreshed version everytime by pressing "Control-R" after hitting the back button. I think this might be your only shot :) Good Luck

That's what the back button is supposed to do!
