SS: Alone for the Holidays...

First time in about 5 years I've been all alone (no significant other) for the Holiday season. Kinda depressing. Miss the companionship... :(

I know what you mean. My son is in another state with his Mom, my Mom died in July, and I couldn't get any time off this holiday to go home and see my Dad. Holidays are for families, and being alone bites.

I'm sleeping in tomorrow, and when I get up I'm watching 15 hours of Trading Spaces on TLC. Of course I'll be drinking a case of beer during that time. I may clean up the apartment if I get the time, but I don't think it's likely to get done.

I definitely need to do something for New Year's, last year I had to work. I don't work on the 1st this year, and I'm owed a day off for working today. So, maybe I'll take the 2nd off for recuperation. I haven't really partied hard for a loooooooooooong time, and I think I really could use a good time.

Man being alone must suck. Although I'm not with a significant other right now I do have an a$$load of friends in town for break. Could possibly have a significant other when spring semester starts, we'll just have to wait and see, well I will. :lick:
