UT and Deus won't run in full screen

For whatever reason, those two games refuse to run in full screen, and its rather annoying, i'm assming this is some setting that was messed up or something, but can anyone help with this?

I have also had some trouble with both of these games. Make sure you have the 1.14F-M patch for Deus Ex. It's a mess without it. I don't know what the latest patch is for UT. Also-the big question:

What is your video card? Both of those games have shakey D3D performance and DeusEX just doesn't work with most cards in OpenGL.

Well, I figured out the problem, at least i tried it with Deus. I set my desktop to 32bit color and it worked. Now, i just have to deal with 2 minute loading times in Deus !
