Hi,
I just installed XP Prof on a PC i built. Everything boot up super smooth. I run the wizard to make the network..flawless operation. Restarted again, network was perfect, internet, everything. I unplugged the machine to move back into the room it came from and now it won't restart. It just hangs right before the boot logo screen with nothing on the screen. The power button no longer works either..only the restart. I restarted it and chose safe mode...it started scrolling on the screen what files it was loading..and it hangs on Mup.sys...every single time. Has anyone had this problem before? Any approaches. Btw everything is brand new
Epox mb, 700mhz duron, WD 40gb, netgear NIC...except the 24x cdrom i salvaged
