Which would you pick if you had to choose between getting headers or exhaust for an SOHC EX civic? I want to get both eventually but I think for now, I'm going to have to choose one or the other. It doesn't have any other performance related mods right now except an AEM cold air intake.
Any suggestions on what kinds to look at? For some reason I'm leaning towards GReddy right now...

i'd suggest you do some planning on future mods first, for instance if you planned on going turbo...it might not be a good idear to get some headers right now. anywho, since you will eventually get both, i think you should save up enough mula to buy both at once and install them together...saves you time and money if you werent gona install them yourself. if you do get an exhaust you'll be losing a little torque...
you cant go wrong with greddy...might want to look into apexi ws for a quieter one and apexi n1 for the loudness...tanabe is good but pricy...
here are some good forums:

Headers From what I hear you can feel the difference.
Headers won't do much good if they're breathing through the stock exhaust system, so do the exhaust first. From all the tests I've read all the brands are pretty much equal as far as increasing power output, so I'd go with a system made from stainless steel for longevity.
Oh, and please avoid the temptation of adding a huge resonator tip - they add no power and only serve to attrract the cops and annoy people. My 2 cents....

Greddy and Apexi are both great choices. Contact rollhard.com. They get awesome prices on the Apexi stuff, and can probably beat most people's prices on Greddy as well.

Thanks guys. I went with the GReddy evolution exhaust system. Hopefully, it'll arrive next week. Anybody know how difficult these things are to install? It's a civic coupe...
