Nice, these are nice cars. Still prefer the 4Runner, however.
I want the Xterra, b/c it's got waterproof interior and an interior bike rack (I need it...friend's bike fell off my rack, onto the highway, and got run over multiple times...spokes shot through the tires, frame bent out of shape, half the seat was gone...that was a sad sad day).

I just got a 99.5 pathfinder and I recommend it to everyone looking for a suv. It's great and more worth the money then the 4runner. Plus, with the new 240 hp engine in the 2001, it was ranked #1, even over the 4runner in the latest jd powers report. I only have one complaint though, the cabin is pretty loud. It almost sounds like the window is ajar. I dunno though, they could have fixed that in the 2001. Other then that, its a great suv!
Got my Nissan, Buick, and Oldsmobile freebie forms filled out. And none of the dealers MADE me test-drive the cars. 40 minutes...that's all it took. I will be waiting for my Picnic Backpack, $50 Blockbuster GC, and pair of Motorola Talkabout Radios.
It took 2 weeks to get the $25 bordrs GC from saturn. Im not sure if they still have it

Unbelievable. All you people really do all this for freebies http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/tongue.gif
To tell you the truth, I'd test-drive the 2001 Pathfinder even if there was no freebie.

True..I really want a Pathfinder, imagine a Maxima that's bigger and has a more powerful engine (although i'm sure in the end it'll be almost the same, the Pathfinder is much heavier after all). My parents still have a '93 Maxima, and since my two year old CiViC is in for repairs (some idiot hit my parked car and caused almost $2k worth in damage), i've been driving this to college for summer classes (i can't drive the rental, i'm 20, you gotta be 21). Whoa..why did I just type all that crap...

damn if your going to test drive a car just for fun at least test drive a really really expensive fancy car that you would never have the chance of driving otherwise.

I'll tell you whats fun. About a year ago I won free limo service for a whole 48 hours. Well of course I was going to use it as much as possible. So I loaded up a couple of friends and went all over town. Someone suggested we pull into a bmw dealership. Man when the sales people saw that limo pull onto the lot 3 people ran over. LOL it was too funny. I guess its one of those things you had to be there for. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

which car testdrive gives you the free talkabout radios?
05-29-2000, 10:38 PM
> which car testdrive gives you the free > talkabout radios?
It's the Buick LeSabre deal at:
Your choice of a Canon 10x25a binoculars, or a pair of Motorola Talkabout Two-Way FR50 Radios.
I chose the binoculars. I could make good use of them, whereas the Talkabouts would just sit in a closet and gather dust (or be auctioned off on Ebay).

waht happens if you crash on of these test drive cars while you are "test driving"? who's insurance covers?
05-30-2000, 03:13 AM
if i crash the test drive car who pays? does my insurace pay or the dealer's? what if i don't have insurace but only a valid license?
anyone have any clues?

The Buick deal says you have to be 25 in the fine print. However, I just changed my margins so that the "terms and conditions" printed on another page. I'm sure the car sales guy I bring it to will never notice.
Received my Picnic Backpack today via FedEx. Not bad, not bad at all.
