A coworker is trying to sell her laptop. Here are the specs:

IBM Thinkpad 600 E
Pentium II 400 Mh
13.3 TFT Active Matrix screen
128 MB Ram
6.5 GB HD
Modem
Ethernet
CDROM (it is also DVD capable)
Floppy
New battery
Docking station
Windows 98 and Office 2000 licensed
House warranty expires October 2002
$800 + shipping(no shipping for san diego residents)

I'd say they're probably pretty good. IBM makes nice laptops.

Hmmmm 800 bucks for a p2-400 is sorta pricey i would say. Specially when you can get those Toshiba Satellites for 1100-1200 bucks which are p3-1ghz

Yep I told her it's kinda high but in all fairness to her, you can get the same laptop from IBM with a lesser warranty for $850.

My brother in law is just finishing up his masters in IT. I just bought me a sweet computer for a pretty darn good price.

IBM Thinkpad R30 P3 1gig/15/cd-rw/128 + 3 year warranty from IBM for $900. Heh... I'm stoked... it's coming in the mail by Fri.

got it from an ebay seller...just got it now... using it to respond to you. I'm stoked... :D
