Wow, I just saw this crazy popup today. A full screen (without the toolbar or close botton, etc) window popped up and played a streaming video of a TV commercial for a milk company... now that's hard core!!

I went to pc.ign.com and got a flash ad of a character that came up from the bottom of the screen to cover the news item. Then the flash character came in from the left side of the screen before I clicked it off. Talk about intrusive. Don't these ad companies realize such ads turn people off? Maybe they just don't care.

I got that one too... really annoying...

I've noticed they pop up for me when the discover card ad shows.
