Living in Ohio, I don't exactly get many chances to hit the casinos. Since I live in Cincinnati right now, the Ohio River is very close, which can mean only one thing: riverboats!!
Five friends and I took a trip to the Argosy Casino, which is a riverboat on the Ohio river in Indiana (casinos are illegal in Ohio at the moment).
I walked in expecting to lose money, as did everyone else in my group. I started by walking around all three floors of the boat, getting a feel for the games. I finally found a seat at a $10 blackjack table and in about an hour I found myself down $100. I had decided earlier that $100 was all I was willing to lose, so I got up and watched my friend play at the same table. Five minutes later, my seat was still empty, so I decided to sit back down, buying $60 of chips.
After my friend left the table up $20, I went on a hot streak! In about 15 minutes, I had already won all of my money back, and soon I had $280 in chips in front of me. When a new dealer showed up, I knew that that was my cue to get up and leave the table. I was so happy to have won $120, considering that I was down $100 half an hour previously! :D
Needless to say, I will definitely be going back! I just hope that my luck stays the same! :P
