I went on Sunday. It was a total blast. Too bad the "Z" they had on exhibition was a J-spec Fairlady(so the model wasn't allowed to open the trunk for people to look inside). Also, the RX-8 got sent to the Detroit show, instead.

Well that sucks. I wanted to see the RX8 too. Bah, not planning to go then.

It kind of pissed me off, too. Mazda reps didn't seem to care, when I was asking about it(and that is a car I am considering buying next year). I had mentioned it got sent to Detroit last year...so why did they get it again. and they were like, "the detroit show is more prestigious"

c'mon guys, cut Detroit some slack. we have to have SOMETHING that makes us special. i guess we can settle for the world's largest auto show, although some culture and sunshine would be nice :P

Pfft I'd say IMHO that the auto show over in Geneva is bigger than the Detroit one. . . hehe. But anyhow its inevitable that the LA show will become more influential and important for companies than the Detroit show since a lot of companies have already and still moving over to LA. Hopefully the new mayor of Detroit can turn things around and have an increase in population for once. . .

my roommate went and had a blast. i interrogated him about it and he said the new RAM is HUGE! that's all i care about. i can't wait to go to the dealer and check it out. i'm not really into these shoebox sized cars. enjoy it though, for those who go.

heh, the closest I'd ever get to a place like that would be the state police repo auction...

any law enforcement around to ask about that one? i have to admit though, the caprice with the kicker subs in the trunk was pretty cool.
