Okay, at first I thought it was gonna be a stupid idea but apparently the v8 only adds about 20kg. And looks like good ol' cosworth is doing the development you can read up a lil' ovah here: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/NealM1/php3/openframe.php3?page=previews/preview_main_new.php3?id=33224 As awesome as this car will be. . . I still want Audi to bring the RS4 over here in the states. . . limey bastids. . .

Funny you mention the RS4...I just saw my first S4 Avant the other day. What I wouldn't give...

Sorry... but I'll take the iron-block bi-turbo V-6 over that aluminium V-8. I don't know who told them that turbo-charging is falling out of "flavour."

Well, it's not that it's falling out of favor, it's just more $$ to make and maintain. Especially the biturbo setup they use. If one of the turbos goes, you have to replace both, and that is super expensive. Also, they get more "real" power from the 8 than the 6 at the cost of 20kg. You can't beat that.
