NSS: Talking to your Mom for the first time in 4 years!!!!!

Yay. Today I finally got enough courage to call my mom who I haven't talked to in 4 years. And it was a very tearful conversation. :bawl: I asked her why she never called me and she was afraid I wouldn't talk to her, which was the same thing I was afraid of, so I didn't call her. :rolleyes: But I am glad I did, and glad I listened to Dopey and just got the courage and called. I thought I'd just share my little bit of happiness with you all today. :D

That's great! :) I didn't speak to my father once for over a year. I saw him for the first time in 4 years this past summer. The good thing is now once you've "broken the ice" it will (hopefully) be easy to talk to each other more often.

I'm hoping to talk more, but it will be hard, becuase we both have long distance blocked on our phones ( I'm in CA and she's in MO ). But she does want to try to see all her kids ( 5 total, me, 2 w/ her parents, and 2 w/ her ) at the same time, but thank god she doesn't want to get custody back of the 2 w/ my grandparents. She realizes they are happy and have their own life in Oregon. Seeing her would be a different thing though, I haven't seen her in like 7 years or so. So that would be a huge step. But I do hope it happens. :D
