I tried this before (and just tried again). I am an AT&T Digital Phone subscriber (telephone service comes into the house via cable), and they won't let me sign up for the direct billing. :( By the way, AT&T Digital is a pretty good deal: local service, 5 hours long distance, caller ID, call waiting, and 3-way calling, all for something like $37/mo.
