18MPG on 1989 Acura Legend with 120,000(this car has a lot of pep but is loaded with problems) 22MPG on 1986 Toyota Camry with 95,000 (absolutely no pep to this car, but very dependible) 11MPG on 1976 Dodge Tradesman 200 van with, believe it or not 285,000 miles with slant six(my father bought this new in 1975 for $3100, this van never breaks down, I love driving it)

I get about 32 MPG with my Escort. After I change my air filter, it should go up some...

Nice, coleslaw. I drive an Escort as well and get somewhere around 30-33 mpg. Not much pep but good for the wallet.

Wow, I never thought I'd see the day that Monty admitted that the Blue Meanie had no pep to it

Guess I'm in the same boat with my accord...only get about 30 MPG though.

My C320 gets around 24mpg. If I drive purely highway, I can get that up to 31mpg or so. My 1999 Honda Accord V6 coupe averages around 20mpg.

30mpg, strictly freeway driving
20-24, everday driving

20-22mpg highway, and I swear like 6-7mpg in town, even driving nice. Should come up a bunch when I get some 30# injectors instead of 36# and my MAF calibrated for them, though.

-94 Modified Mustang Cobra, btw. Plenty of pep. ;)

the jetta normally gets about 24-26 city, about 30 highway...used to be higher, but the exhaust, open element air filter and chip have brought it down a bit...

20 miles to school
14 gallons in tank

I go to class 4 days a week, after two weeks thats 320 miles, this leaves me enough to drive 100+ miles before refuelling. 420/14 = 30
And by no means do i drive conservatively.

30 MPG in a 318 isnt really that low. i get about 20-30 in city, depending on how i drive and 25-35 on the highway in mine. its all stock right now. try putting in a k&n air filter, that may help increase the milage a little and make sure your tires are properly inflated, that helps some too.

i get 20-30 MPG in my '89 Volvo stationwagon. and this beauty of a tank just hit 175,000 miles!

i could probably get better mileage if i cleaned up the engine, put in new plugs and stuff...but i'm too lazy right now...

21 mpg, mix of city and highway :( My dad has had two cars with that same engine - a Buick and an Olds. He got around the same as you in mixed driving, but on trips both cars would get nearly 30.

Hey babymike how do you like your wrx. I have to trade my truck in as I have another midget on the way and I have been eyeing down a wrx.

I love it. The reviews are tru in that it is really tame under 3k revs, but after that it takes off like a jet. The one complanint i have is that the interior is rattling due to poor quality, but my other friends who own them don't seem to have that problem. For the features and performance, I can't think of anything better. The Evo, Sti, and the new Z are all coming out soon, but the Z isn't as quick and I don't think the other two are worth the extra money.

I drive a 1966 Dodge Charger, with a 383 CI V8 and a four barrel carb.

I don't measure miles per gallon, I measure gallons per mile.

It's fun though... :)

I talk about it often enough, but here's a recap: I put a ram-air setup on it and it works well on the highway - it gives me a little extra power. For an experiment I removed the intake tube so the engine would breathe the warm underhood air. As a result I got a 10% improvement in fuel economy.
