Outlook gurus, is there a way to change a password located on an email server using Outlook? I know there is in Eudora, but I am not sure for Outlook.

Also this user has Outlook installed on a laptop. When she uses it at home, she cannot read her email. I believe that Road Runner cable modem will not allow her to use our outgoing email server, instead they want her to use Road Runner's outgoing server. Is there some sort of location manager, one that allows her to just click on a different location rather than change the settings everytime she moves locations?

Thanks! :thumb:

I've figured out the multiple location problem. Just go to Accounts->New Addy and change the default mail client when you reach your new destination.

Still wondering about the password thing though. I will post if I find out, for future reference.

i have not ever seen a way to change the password remotely. What is doing the authentication on the mail server? Does the authentication server have a telnet service you could enable? You could be able to change the PW that way.
