For years I've taken two sugars in my coffee at home, but lately it's too sweet. Are my taste buds changing cuz I'm getting older?

This sounds like a "Dear Abby," OC!

It could be your buds are changing. I went from drinking mine almost as a confection, to straight up black and unsweetened, and now I've figured a ratio of about one Equal to 8oz coffee. I've been here for a while now.

the ratio is an amazing thing...everyone has their own too. here's what makes me mad though, waitresses in diners usually have no compassion for the ratio. think about it...they'll walk over, fill your cup w/o even asking if you want more. i mean, i know that they're being nice and trying for a larger tip, but they gotta realize..alot of work goes into a cup of coffee...and adding more unsweetened, uncreamered coffee into a perfect ratio, is just mean.

hey, have you gotten my e-mails?

When I do drink coffee, not often, I usually use 5 or 6 packets of sugar... is that a bit much? Should I worry about reducing it now or just let the process of aging do it for me?
