I just got my $227 Creative Labs Annihilator 2 today...
I'm kinda disappointed. It's really not that great. Faster, yeah, but I dunno. I was really excited at first, but now I'm like what's the big deal.
So does anyone know the cheapest place to get a Voodoo5 5500 AGP? Preferrably in stock...

UpgradeSource.com has it for $259.
It is on back order but they emailed me saying that it will be back in stock on 7/3.
Out of curiousity,
Why do you want to buy a voodoo 5?
all reviews point toward the GeForce as the winner...I am actually in the process of purchasing a video card too...Let me know what you know

Actually it's not me that bought it. My friend had been using 3dfx stuff all his life (yeah I know), so he had to buy it http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

upgrade souce raised the price to 278 for pci and 271 for agp ... go figure .. more expensive for the pci ... if anyone can find it for under 260, I will buy it immediately ... I checked price watch and no luck there

GeForce2 is definitely faster than the Voodoo 5... Although even that is not completely true... Some websites have the Voodoo beating the GeForce on faster machines (800+mhz) The biggest thing for me is that the Voodoo 5 seems to be better for the games I play, ie sports, rpg, adventure... While the GeForce2 is good when you want a lot of frames per second like in Quake 3.
I really really crave for FSAA...
i had one place at onvia for $240..... but they don't have any in stock...so looking around to see if any deals pop up in the meantime...
not a speed freak but quailty is what i love... geforce2 is for speed ... 5500 has the pretty picture....
