I know that a link has been posted to allow you to opt out of X-10 ads for a period of time. But this page (http://www.hotdealsclub.com/popupads/) has a series of links that allow you to opt out of a number of other popup ad sources. Good riddance!

So, do they really work? Call me paranoid, but I don't trust these ad serving companies.

Isn't there a program that will block pop-up ads from the user's end?

Really? I use Panicwares pop-up stopper and it works great for me. I have to toggle it on and off though, but that beats getting the pop-ups.
