laptop screen bad pix!!!!

Is it just my bad luck or are all laptops supposed to come with bad screens. I have a 486 laptop (bad pix) a ibm pent 166 (bad pix) a compaq 133 (bad pix) and i just got a new dell inspiron 4100 and guess what..... should i just live with it because all laptops are like this or should i tell dell to give me a new one.

it's pretty common. The nature of LCD screens tends to prevent flawless production, though it does happen. Still, if it is a bad area, I'd work with Dell to fix it - you CAN get a good screen.
