hi,... looking for some quick answers. :)

need to get some photo equipment quick here in the LA area, and was wondering if any of you worked in a shop or knew of any good ones with decent prices?

I just usually go to Bel-Air Camera. They might not be the cheapest place, but they'll have (or be able to order) pretty much anything that I've ever needed. What kind of things are you looking for specifically?

i went and checked out bel-air camera (you're referring to the one in westwood right?) and they were easily the most expensive shop that i visited. :( you're right though, they had quite a bit of stuff. :)

bhphotovideo, when i called was not going to ship anything next day unless i was going to give up my soul to them. *hahaha*

i'll check out netphotostore now,... i'm about to head out to the samy's right now,... anyone been/use them?

netphotostore.com is unique photo's ecommerce site, and although i've never ordered anything online from them, i've shopped at their showroom many times, and been very satisfied.

also, i should have already mentioned, they used to price match, so if you find what you are looking for cheaper someplace else, let them know. i'm pretty sure they will adjust the price for you.
