Getting free shoes from Adidas by returning the old ones

so I emailed Adidas this morning and they got back to me by 1pm today (very quick response). i have a pair of Adidas shoes that are like 2 years old. they're sort of falling apart, but it's mostly normal wear. anyway, they told me to send them to get a GC for their original price +$10 for my shipping costs to the adidas online store. we'll see what happens, but hopefully I'll get a free GC to get a pair of shoes. i love good CS.

BTW, if anyone has old adidas shoes to send in, just go to www.adidas.com, click "contact us" at the bottom of the page and fill out the form. they'll send you an email with the return form attached.

wow, that's so cool! My sister is a soccer player so she wears tons of Adidas shoes. I'll be sure and tell her about this. Thanks!

I got a GC in my email from Adidas today. Very sweet considering i paid only $50 for the shoes when they were on sale...3 years ago! It took them less than a month to get back to me. The shoes were recieved at their warehouse on 2/14 and i got the GC today. Go Adidas! Here's a look at the email they sent me today:
