saw dsl lady at applebees

ok, so i am just at Applebees eating a nice lunch, when i see this lady and her husband leaving, and i kinda gave her a fuuny look and she gave me one, then she came up to me and said i looked familiar. low and behold, it was the pac bell dsl tech who had come to my house just a few weeks ago. small world, eh? i told her thanks and that my dsl works great and that i will stick w/ pac bell when my contract is up in a couple days.


see, actually, i want to switch to cox.net (formerly cox@home) cuz its only $30 a month,, but we shall see.

i'd check out the cox first to make sure its fast before i switch.

you still gotta rent the modem for $10/month...brings up that $30/month

30 a month if you buy the modem, 40 if you rent it. i think ill just buy one for like $100 at comp usa. dsl will be $50 a month if i renew my contract

they're down to $100 now? well...still sounds like 10 months of renting it. and they could decide to change to a new modem type by that time.
