Well now that sunday and round 2 has come to an end... im a little sad.:(

First off: My poor raiders got RIPPED OFF last night! AAAAAHHHHH:angry: . A little side note: when the quarter back has two hands on the ball (or atleast its aimed at the ground) ITS NOT A FRICKEN PASS!!! Im sick of this. The first round and their week 17 games against the Jets, the reffs were making bad calls against them all night, and last night they lost because of it!

The Bears got bitchslapped too which im sorta happy about. Im glad the Eagles are goin, but they wont make it past the rams next week... considering theyre playing them at home.

Which brings me to today's games...

The rams did an awesome job against the Packers... i wanted teh pack to win but it obviously wasnt going to happen. I think the Rams are a little over-rated however. Yes theyre awesome at home and on turf but thats pretty much it. On a regular old school, natural field: they aint that great. However their next game is at home and the superbowl is in New Orleans (on turf and considering they go) so things are looking good for them... but warner was having back problems today:dodgy:

The Steelers are, i think, going to kick the **** out of the Patriots, i hope:D . I think they have the best defense in the NFL, or atleast, whats left of it... and the Pats certainly cant compare. Their shabby offense will be dominated by the Steelers defense, which just leaves cordell stewart and jerome "the bus" bettis to come in and finish them off.

So as i see it, were looking at the Steelers/Rams for the Superbowl: GO STEELERS!!!

(this is kinda long... i wonder if ne body reads it:hmm: )

I agree, looks like Rams/Steelers.

Yeah, I thought the game was over when Brady "fumbled". Ray-duhs got hosed!

I don't see anyone beating the Rams since the remaining 2 games are indoors. "Too Many Weapons"

Go Kordell, finally shedding all the homosexual rumors by playing good football (people are messed up).

And go Rams....

6 int's...SICK

and yay philly...McNabb is awesome. and Philly fans are actually appreciating him instead of the stupid freakin looser punks who boo'ed him in the draft..
Go McNabb - such a great guy...
how can you not love him after reading that espn magazine article about him.

steelers dominated the game on o and d, the points could have been higher but they always seem to never score as much as they should on any given day

It was kinda sad when the Bears lost their starting QB early in the game. That's never a good situation, especially in a playoff game. However, it seems that if the same thing had happened for the Packers, it might have been to their advantage. :heh:

Would I be correct in assuming that you are an avid watcher of "Short Attention Span Theatre"?
It was only about 300 words. Don't worry about length until you are well over 500, or 1000 if it an interesting topic (football does not qualify as interesting).

Steelers vs. Rams is a "who cares" match for me. Someone let me know when the Niners show back up again.

Yeah, the Raiders got cheated, on two calls, but really, it was a couple of coaching decisions that cost them the game. It is one thing to play conservatively, but it is something else to play too conservatively.

Anyway, I wouldn't write Philadelphia off so soon. Their defense might just be able to handle the Rams, no matter where they are playing. As for the AFC, the Steelers and Patriots are pretty evenly matched.

IMO, next week will be a toss up.

the raiders got cheated, but at the same time, if you look at most any NFL game, there are bad calls throughout. i'm not saying that it doesn't suck, or that they shouldn't try to fix it, but it's just that those bad calls that end up altering the course of the game are magnified and much more obvious than the ones that occur late in a 45-3 blowout.
also, some commentators are saying that the call was correct, in that it properly reflected the NFL rulebook. they say it's the rule that is flawed. an interesting opinion, at the least.

Yeah. From what I heard, the referees made the right call, it was just a stupid rule that screwed the Raiders. That rule's probably why they should have regular drug screening for NFL officials who write the rules. :P
