:eek3: :umm:

That is what you call...stupid.

So...if people bid on it they are legal bound to pay it? What if they don't? Can the seller go after the people for the money?

Almost Square Piece of Cardboard - NR
Item # 1502397496

Everything Else:Weird Stuff:Slightly Unusual

Currently $109.50 First bid $0.01
Quantity 1 # of bids 14 bid history
Time left 3 hours, 6 mins +

You are bidding on a wonderful piece of cardboard that is almost square. The cardboard measures 6.75 inches by 6.1 inches. The cardboard is in almost new condition, with a slight bend on one corner.

This cardboard came as packing material for an Origami desk calendar I received this Christmas. For you, it could have a myriad of uses: packing material for a desktop calendar, coffee table coaster, or modern art conversation piece.

There is no reserve. Actual shipping will be around 65 cents. I am more than willing to ship priority or internationally, email me for a shipping quote.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Jan-16-02 at 08:13:34 PST, seller added the following information:
The cardboard is single fluted with a burst strength of 175 lbs per square inch. This is high quality cardboard.

On Jan-17-02 at 08:27:25 PST, seller added the following information:
If the final bid is more than $20, I will include a free Certficate of Authenticity.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Jan-17-02 at 10:39:48 PST, seller added the following information:
For those buyers not familiar with English measurements: the cardboard measures 17x15 cm. or 0.0008450648x0.0007456454 furlongs or 1.585535e-017x1.79694e-017 lightyears or 4.861168e-018x5.509324e-018 parsecs

On Jan-19-02 at 05:04:03 PST, seller added the following information:
This is a serious auction (well, as serious as an auction for a piece of cardboard can be). Please do not bid if you don't want the Almost Square Piece of Cardboard, because many people do.

Thanks xsiled2.
That's a legitimate auction. He is not attempting to mislead anyone. If someone bid $100 for it, they owe him $100.

Selling something is all about presentation and only a little about the item you are selling.
Now I am thinking about the tens of thousands of dollars worth of cardboard I have thrown away...
