so i just got an audigy card (mp3+, but didnt install the extra software) and winamp is acting funny. i usually keep the icon in the system tray, but when i minimize winamp it wont come back up in the tray. if i keep it in the task bar things are good. also, every once in a while winamp just stops. not freezes, but i have to hit stop then play for it to start again. i have the latest version of winamp and all creatives newest drivers. running win2k pro w/500 mhz k6-2 and 256 ram. any thoughts? thanks.

What is the minimum processor requirement for the audigy card?
My first thought is proc/mb upgrade.

actually, win2000 is likely the problem...it can be really funky with sound playback. I have the same problem on my work computer, regardless on if I use musicmatch, winamp, or media player.

the only thing is that ive been running it for about a year and a half, and the problems only started two weeks ago when i installed the audigy. i used to run a philips acoustic edge, which had no problems?
