This is a great deal I would get in on it but got a bunch a while back when Buy.com had'em for like $5. But I only got beige this is much better, you can get colors.

Specs: All are ATA66/100 compatible. 40-pin, 80-wire . Machine rounded. Colors: Gray, Black, Blue, Red and Yellow. The black, blue, yellow and red ones are 19" long (7.5" and 12.5" between connectors), with sleeve wraps and connector covers (as shown in picture), and individually packed in plastic bags.

Notes: (1) Currently only gray, black, yellow and red, blue colors are available. We're trying to bring other colors. (2) The differences in the prices among the different colors are a reflection of the differences in our cost. (3) Sleeve wrapped round cables are more flexible than the shrink wrapped ones. (4) Both cables have 80 wires. Both were tested well with ATA100 drives.

Damn it that would have been a good deal. UDMA should be enabled for a good DVd playback. I guess its back to 1980 style ribons for me :(

Seven bucks is still a good deal considering other places have them for 10 when on sale. One thing ot remember about Directron, they have a $10 minimum oreder for shipping.

The cables are on sale now for $5.00 or 10 for $48. What a deal. I passed on the floppy cables as they are $10 or 2 for $18. I would prefer a floppy cable that does not have a second drive capability if it is possible, to eliminate extra cable length.

19 inches was long enough for my ide stuff, but i ordered the floppy cables i was looking for. Single device 10 inches ($4.99) for mid-tower and 24 inches ($5.49) for full-tower for cheaper price and shipping than Directron. Priority shipping was $3.99 for 2 cables, 92 mm fan, and fan grille compared to $5.72 UPS ground for 3 cables from Directron. I'll take priority mail over UPS ground any day.
