All I have to say is..... the book is much better. I would give it a mixed review, me and my fiance both enjoyed it...my friend and his wife both thought it sucked. That said with movie prices where they are at, I would recommend seeing it as a matinee or wait for DVD. THen again, this is only my opinion.

Definatley worth viewing once for 7 dollars. This is a must own on DVD... Classic packed with fun and action, I couldn't get enough.

I just saw it tonight. I thought it was good. You have to see it at least once.

I saw this a couple days ago and I thought it was really good. Quite different from the book, but still a very good movie.

the movie is quite different than the book, but the movie gave me an idea of all the characters

The book is much different from the movie, but I do like the new spin on things, it made the movie more enjoyable as a movie, rather than lengthy (of course a book is always better than the movie).
Great cinematography, a definite DVD to own, I only saw the screener with boom mics dropping down in every other scene, but it was an enjoyable movie if you like the swashbuckling error a la 3 Musketeers.

I agree with UFC on this definitely a Matinee, but a must see.
