Jackpot sending out all $300 check not Palms

Just got this email

Thank you for writing Jackpot.com and for your referrals. You qualified for
the referral launch promotion prize. As stated in our rules, we reserve the
right to send cash value for prizes. We usually send equivalent cash value
to international winners because of shipping charges, tax requirements, and
other logistical challenges. In the case of the referral launch promotion,
Palm V's are currently in very short supply. We sampled some of the many
qualifiers within the United States, and a very large percentage desired to
get the cash equivalent now instead of a Palm V in 4-6 weeks. After the
sampling, as more names were added to the qualified list, these additional
qualifiers were automatically sent $300 checks (minus taxes if located
outside of the United States).

I got check today! I've seen the Vx drop to $370. so I am still trying to decide: spend the extra $70 on the Vx or save $50 on the Visor Deluxe

md2b-i just got the handspring visor deluxe and i also have the palm Vx. its a good choice for the handspring. i actually like it better just cause of the expandability although the modules are a tad bit pricey. same features as the palm Vx cept its 100 dollars more and also not as small as the VX.either way you will make a good choice.

Be happy, I wrote to Jackpot a week ago on the status of my account (I had 27 referrals) and they still have not gotten back to me. All I got was a generalized message that they were "checking in" to it. Has anyone had problems with them? Everyone that did seems to have been given a $300 check now. That suits me just fine.
