Damn some people just never learn, when I was a senior in high school ( 2000 ) there was a car accident, it was the worst in my valleys history. Three high school teenagers died ( 2 brothers ) and a man who was driving in the opposite direction.
The person who was driving the car that killed everyone, survived. He got 8 years in State Prison, he is still trying to get out saying his case and sentencing were bascially "unfair" it just makes me sad.

Here is the link to the story
Supreme Court says no to Lellan (http://www.the-signal.com/main/0102/013002b.html)

Here are a couple of links to what happened right after the accident, so you can know bascially the "whole" story

I was trying to find more articles about this, but it just started to make me sad again.
I guess I'm just mad that he would say that his sentence is unfair and doesn't deserve to be in jail, yes I was friends with him, but I was also friends with everyone else in the car and their sentence wasn't fair either. I dunno sometimes life just doesn't make sense.
:( :neartears

:( I was thinking about something today, and I realized the date.
Tomorrow ( Sunday February 17th ) is the 2 year " anniversary" since the accident.

(Assuming that he's responsible for those deaths, e.g. not losing control after skidding over a patch of ice)...

I hope he gets a new trial.

Then the jury convicts him and hands him a sentence that's twice as heavy.

I remember all that.... The worst was that walking through my campus.... people were joking about it. I wonder how many of them actually thought about "what if it happened to me?"

I'm throwing some good energy your way pink. I hope you dont hold an anniversary event. That kind of thing is something to remember... but not dwell on.

I don't hold it as an anniversary, but I do think about it and realize his mistake and to learn from in.

I guess alot of people don't think it actually can happen to them or at their school, until it actually does.
