It’s hard to believe that you can get this much cholesterol for a mere five bucks. It might be a regional thing though. I’m in western Pennsylvania.

See you in the ICU!!!!

In SD it's 4 for $5 or 5 for $5 if it's the junior sandwiches... which is the better deal?

brainsmile,

It depends. If you’re taking the wife or the girlfriend (DON’T try to take them BOTH at the same time), the 5 juniors are better. Because, if you get the four regulars, you’ll have to split them evenly with the wife/girlfriend. With 5 juniors, the lady will generally take only two… leaving the guy with THREE!!! At least it’s a better deal for YOU since 3 juniors are greater than 2 regulars.

Not that it stops me from eating it, I heard somewhere (Dateline, 20/20, 48hours) that arby's pours their beef out of a barrel onto the grill in liquid form, forming the crap they put between the buns.

Or I'm on crack. :wow: :eye:

I has long been common knowledge that Arby's "beef" at one point is a "slurry" which they squeeze and press to form the substance that they slice and put between the buns. Arby's "beef" and Pringle's "potato chips" probably have something in common in this area.

Homer didn't say that, although it was from the Simpsons. It was one of the twins, either Terri or Sherri, when all the children where stranded on the tropical island.

If you are a true American you know that the best food doesn't have a wussy label on it like organic or natural. 100% Processed and Proud. Now thats a bumper sticker I'd like to see.

BTW- Arbys Melts are smaller than regular roast beefs, thats why this deal is not 5 for 5 regulars.

And... why are we steal posting regional only deals? Takes me back to when people were posting 10 for $1 top ramens.

In my opinion Taco Bell is probably one of the worst fast food chains. If you've ever taken a peek inside their "sour cream" is in caulking guns, and the "meat" is the same in every single item on their menu. And it's funny because in San Diego it's actually more expensive then all the cheap (and good) taco places like Adalbertos, etc.
