Anyone know of good CD-RW's deals ?

hi everyone...i'm looking for a decent CD-RW drive that could turn out cd's that I could use in almost all CD players..i know that there are some burners out there that churn out cd's that can't be played by some machines. any recommendations? and...are there any good cd burner deals out there right now. I'm like the last person on the planet to have a cd burner!!

I heard the Acers are choice CDRW drives these days...I heard they're reliable, fast close sessions, etc.
