I've heard quite a bit about people having problems with Trillian, and it seems that AOL is being a jerk about the whole thing. What I'm curious about is the way you guys who are having problems are connected to the internet. I, so far, haven't had any problems connecting, but I'm also on dial-up, so my question is, are these problems only being felt by broadband users?
P.S. Sorry about the typos. I usually fix them when I do a read-over, but only moderators can edit polls! :bawl: Typos Suck! :bawl:
:heh:
P.P.S. Thanks, GAM?, or which ever moderator fixed the typos.

The problems have nothing to do with the type of internet connection used. AOL has been trying to block Trillian users from connecting to their servers by disabling the SecureIM feature, so if users had this feature enabled in their Trillian preferences, they were not able to connect to the Oscar servers. A fix for this was discovered and within 24 hours AOL had derived another way to block Trillian users. Version 0.721 was released yesterday, which fixed this bug as well. It seems that people using pre-0.71 versions of Trillian were not effected by thes bugs. I am not currently experiencing any connection problems, so everything appears to be in working order again.

Okay, thanks... that explains a lot.
:hmm: And I'm using Version 0.70. Maybe that's why I'm not having problems...
