I have a year old IBM 466 laptop and was wondering if it is possible to install a SCSI card so that I can use a SCSI CDRW. I am not interested in using a USB CDRW, because it wouldn't work for copying CDG discs.

Sure - you just need something like this -

You can probably find it cheaper elsewhere - CDW isn't that cheap.
You can get the same type of thing for a firewire connection - that may work as well as SCSI.

Thanks, I just checked EBAY and it appears that I can get this item pretty cheap there. Firewire would probably work, but CDRWIN doesn't support it for CDG's.

OK, I found an Adaptec APA 1450A PCI card adapter from half.com for $20. Got it last week. I also got a nice 2 bay case from a guy at work, which has a power supply and switches to set each SCSI ID number. The problem is that the card adapter has a 1-1/2" 50 pin connector and the case has a 2-1/2" 50 pin connector. Do they make adapters to fit the narrow one to the wide one?

These guys might have it - http://www.tmcscsi.com/
Also check Black Box - their stuff is kind of pricy, but they have just about everything - http://www.blackbox.com
