NSS: My Great-Grandfather

Well, on my day off this week, I went up to visit my great-grandfather because he was in the hospital for (what has become) routine procedures. He looked better than I've seen him in the past year, and was in awsome spirits. We talked a little about family history and stuff. It was just really nice to see him in good health.

That's really cool. I am happy for you, spend as much time with him as possible, so you don't regret it later in life.

Ditto on what pinkgirl said. Within the past 6 or 7 years, both my grandmothers passed away (one just 3 wks ago), as well as my great grandmother. And I regret not spending much time with them. Take him out if possible, see what he likes to do. Those are things I'd do if I had a second chance.

Better yet, do this with anyone and everyone that means something to you. =) Cuz believe me, it feels like **** afterwards if you don't.
