hi all,
I bought a E-machines Comp, which came with a DVD drive. Now i want to plug my comp to my TV, but my comp doesn't have the necessary port. Rather my comp has software DVD decoder.
Can anyone please guide me. I also heard the recent deal of $50 off on anything over $50 in buy.com. So which one should i buy from buy.com. I know i am asking for too much, but PLEASE ...PLEASE....

THANX

Anything with the hollywood+ card as the base. The hollywood+ (also known as hplus) is the industry standard card, and can be used to hacked to play any region and demacrovisioned.

BTW, the buy.com deal is over. Nobody will get it I bet. The reason is because buy.com doesn't charge your credit card until shipment and has the right to verify all orders and then correct any mistakes. This is all a legal issue, and companies have the right to do so.

Go with the Real Magic Hollywood+ very good card for around 50-60 bucks. Creative also has a newer card out, dxr. But not sure much about it, pretty expensive too, around $120. But I have a H+ and it is a great decoder card.

Creative's DXR3 card is nothing more than a Hollywood+ card with Creative's name stamped on it. One thing to note however is that the DXR3 will not work with the Hollywood+ software without a hack.

Sorry post this here, but if you are interested you can have the cinemaster card from my dell for $40.00 plus shipping. Took it out of the computer as soon as I got it. 7 months old.
