I was in Explorer and I was in a folder that I keep important information. For an unknown reason, that folder dissapeared. I went into, view> folder options to check to see if the check came out of "show all files" but that was not the problem. I had things in that folder that I know the exact names, I tried the following, Start> Find> Files or Folders, I entered the name and the file did not come up. I looked in the recycle bin to see if deleted. Anyone have any ideas?
I forgot to mention that a few other minor changes were made to the computer and I don't know how those changes were made. I noticed that in Explorer I had the classic view enabled and it defaulted back to viewing as a webpage.
