are there still those old skool MB 300SL gullwing's for sale, and if yes, how much? i don't have the money now (i can't even get some janky car), but in the future, and do have the money, i'd love to get one of these.

Of course you can still buy them. I believe Simonson Mercedes in Santa Monica has one in their showroom. They are DEFINITELY not cheap.

i guess my apartment-mate was pretty close when he told me to get a delorean on ebay. actually, the only thing similar is the gullwing. everything else doesn't compare with the 300SL.

A delorean and a sl300 are so far apart, it insane that they'd be mentioned in the same paragraph. Deloreans look cool but are actually crap. Expensive crap that goes slow. The SL on the other hand is pretty, well executed and quick.

Well, part of the problem was the faulty Flux Capacitor. It just couldn't come up with the required Gigawattage. (Pronounced jigga)
