Shutdown Problem!!! XP

[Epinephrine]

Everytime I shutdown in windows XP pro build 2600, I get a pop error saying dwwin.exe or is it drwin.exe could not be started or found; along the lines of that. What is going on? I have tried numerous reformats to no avail.

System:
Ahtlon XP 1700+
Abit KG7
256 ddr
ATI Radeon 8500 retail
wester digital 40 gig
maxtor 13 gig
quatum 6 gig
SB Live! value

Yes infact I have a 100mb usb zip drive connect in the usb port. But the power is not plugged in. Could this be the problem?
