this is a follow-up request for a deal posted a good while back. someone recommended bootbox.net as an excellent web-hosting solution. they claim to offer free web-hosting if you register your domain name for 2 years through register.com. i applied for a domain name, received confirmation from register.com, but have yet to hear anything from bootbox. i submitted forms for the free web hosting on three separate occaisons to bootbox, along with an email; i have even tried calling them, but the operator was not available and the pre-recorded menu options did not lead me to anything relevant to the webhosting. is anyone currently using bootbox, and if so, how long did it take for them to get a response to you? bootbox claims on their site that they are backed up and that it may take 2 - 3 weeks to get confirmation, but it has been almost a month now i believe. i searched the BBB database and found nothing listed for bootbox, so i turned to the source of the information - the gotapex deals forum. can anyone help me out? if this is a bust, are there any other free web-hosting companies that offer similar or better services?? thanks.

Did you register through bootbox.register.com ?

Read this from TOS
1. Make sure that you have a bootbox.net free Internet access account. This is something that we require before we can get your site up and running. This will not cost you anything, nor do you have to cancel your existing connection to take advantage of our Internet service. Simply go to http://freeisp.bootbox.net and click on the download now link. Follow the instructions and you should have no problems. You do need to be running either Windows 95/98/NT with Internet Explorer 5.0 installed prior to installing the bootbox.net service.

If you do not own your own domain name and wish to have your site hosted at www.yourname.com, (http://www.yourname.com,) please go to http://bootbox.register.com and register your domain for a period of 2 years only. Do not register your domain name for any more or any less than 2 years as our server check this and it could cause a problem with your website. If you already own a domain name, you must transfer it to the BootBox/Register.Com alliance within 90 days of being setup on our servers. You can find all of the transferring instructions by clicking here. If you do not own your own domain name then your site can only be hosted as name.bootbox.net and most of the features that BootBox offers are not available to users hosting as sub domains.

Try here
https://secure.bootbox.net/

From which I get this

Due the enormous amount of requests that pour in everyday we are currently experiencing some backlog in processing all of the requests. We are working on a registration process that will get your site up and running within minutes of your registration, but for the time being requests are taking up 2-3 weeks to process.
