Question: Mercata Dollars

So Mercata has the $100 mercata dollars again, and I signed up this time, but when I go to buy something with them OH! No Mercata $$. FOr those that have used this before, what gives? Is there a waiting period or something? BTW, there's an alright Samsung digital camera there for $127 after the phantom Mercata $$...

So call CS.. when I signed up in December my account had $100 in it as soon as I checked it. Your $ should be there so call and complain.

I tried to sign up recently using a different e-mail and I guess Mercata keeps track because they let me register but told me that the $100 sign-up is 1 per household, so there was no $ in the new account. Maybe that's where your missing $ went.. can't do it twice.

Nope, that can't be it. Never registered for it the first time. PLUS, I moved, have a new e-mail, and a new CC. I doubt they'd be able to track that.

they dont give you the 100 dollar for free... the dollar only subtract from what u have purchase...let say u buy the kam for 127.. then your mercata money only deduct 20% from it and not the whole 100,...

Yes, dude, I know. That price on the camera was 20% off. Ended up not buying, it wasn't the greatest camera, even for the price.
