I need another name for a song that I hear. Ok, it's kind of an old one, but I hear it sometimes and I like it. Here it goes... The lead singer sounds kinda like a Creed/Pearl Jam voice. Heavy sounding in some parts. And one line of the sign sounds like(bare with me here..)
"Turn your head my baby just spit me out!" - this is the part that sounds a lot like Pearl Jam
Can you name it for me?

Thank you! That's the one. Do you know anymore good ones from Collective Soul besides December and Shine?

"to where the river flows" and "heavy" are a hard rockers, similar to "shine"
"in a moment", "run" and "she gathers rain" are a rocking ballads, similar to "december".
overall, i'm a big collective soul fan.....they have a lot of good stuff (although a lot of it sounds pretty similar after awhile).

the song you're talking about is "tomorrow" by silverchair, off their "frogstomp" album. they were one of those massive two-hit wonders who got a couple singles off their first album (which weren't bad songs....it's just that the rest of the album pretty much SUCKED) and then faded into much-deserved obscurity.
to a certain extent, i agree about so many bands sounding like pearl jam, but then i have to diagree. it probably is just because i'm a huge pearl jam fan and so i pay a lot of attention to their music, so to me other bands don't really sound like them.
but at the same time, there is a common musical style that a lot of bands that were producing music in the early to mid 90s shared. call it grunge, call it alternative, call it the "seattle sound"....whatever. there are similarities there, and in my opinion, it makes that music just ROCK.
just my 2 cents ;)
