Some people reported having them ring up as a little less than $9 in the store, but YMMV. Also if you sign up for a Kohl's charge card you get something like $10 off a $50 purchase.

Mine is due to arrive today so I'll let you know how well it works. I hope I get a blue one. :)

I've read that you SHOULD NOT follow the instructions on charging the batteries for the first time. Instead, only charge them for 4 hours the first time. I've read this is crucial to future performance of the battery.

Also, see the 'for sale' forum if anyone doesn't have a Kohls nearby and wants me to ship them one. I can't wait to get mine going!! :D

The Kohls at Rio in Germantown has 6 of them left (3blue 3 gold)

The one in Germantown has 5 of them left (2 blue 4 gold)

Several of the boxes were opened. I had to inspect several of them to find a good one.

Good luck!

Wish we had one of these in Seattle. Our cat needs a friend ;)

Got mine yesterday -- it's kind of neat. Kind of interesting how much work they put into manufacturing a kids toy. It moves a lot slower than I thought and it's pretty loud when it moves. It has a pretty diverse range of motion and actions, I really need to sit down and look at the manual -- it's like 30 pages long.
