I need some camera advice!! Please !!!!
Here is the deal I am going on a trip to London England this summer and I would
like to know your opinion on what kind of camera I should take. I currently own
a cannon point and shoot camera. I also own a Kodak DC 4800 Digital camera with
a 64mb and a 16mb CF card. Some options I was thinking of:
#1 Take my cannon camera and that is it.
#2 Take both the cannon and Kodak digital, and use digital the battery runs out (don’t take too long either)
#3 buy another CF card (I am looking at 256mb one) and buy an external 1-hour
charger & battery kit and a voltage converter kit (I am guessing $200 - $250 or so for the
lot)
#4 take the 200 I would have spent on accessories to make my digital camera work over in London and add a few more dollars to it and buy a good regular camera.
If I chose option 4 I am not sure what kind of camera I would get. Those SLR cameras look neat I just wonder how hard it is to get a good picture out of them. Or is SLR outdated technology and maybe I should go for an APS camera. At any rate I would like a camera with a zoom if I bought a new one.
I would appreciate any advice you may have on this subject...
Thank you,
