I don't know how hot this is, but the cost of shipping often negates whatever deals the on-line book and movie sellers have. B&N tends to be a bit pricey anyway, but they do have some discount items in all lines.

This has been around for well over a month now =) If you have ******, you can get 4% discount. There is a $5 off I think $50 purchase floating around. And if you have something called the Student Advantage card or Readers Advantage card, you can get an additional 5% off. I bought quite a bit of textbooks from them. But if you look closely, and compare with Amazon, Amazon usually has a discount of 30% on books, while barnes and nobles only has 20% so it almost works out. I get no tax from Barnes & Nobles. I get no tax and free shipping for purchases over $99 from Amazon too =)
