Access Denied in Win XP

I have this folder that some of my digital cam. pics were downloaded to. For some reason, that folder became unaccessible all of a sudden. I can't access it, or any of its subfolders. Everytime I try, I get an error message saying "access is denied."

I only had 2 or 3 days of pics in it so it's not such a big deal to lose, but windows won't let me delete the folder now. Everytime I try, I get an error message saying Access is Denied. I tried using the command prompt but had no luck. I also tried deleting it in safe mode, but I received the same error message.

Any suggestions?

Your user name may not have read/write permissions to that folder. Try logging under administrator and access/delete the folder, then give your user name access as well if needed.

Enable permissions to all folders while logged in under any user name.

That will fix it. :)
