So here's the story thus far.
I loaned someone my Logitech Z560 speakers for a party, but they blew out during the party. They thought it was just the fuse so I posted to gotapex about help finding the fuse. I found the fuse and everything lights up, but no sound comes out of the speakers now. I plugged in another pair of speakers and those work.
So, I guess they blew the speakers out completely. How can I be sure? What do I do now? Should I get an RMA from logitech? Can I buy a new subwoofer since the satellites are fine?
I'm really mad and I need help with this.

I'd suggest the RMA because of the use during the party. Granted the subwoofer probably got used a lot more than the satellites, but still being blasted ain't good for any speaker. If they're under warranty, and u can get one, i'd highly suggest it.
I had a similar problem with my comp speakers when they dropped off my table... 3 feet.... (as opposed to me droping them when i was carrying them or moving them... and they dropped, without a dent)
the main doesnt work, the satellite does fine, volume and everything works on the satellite, just not the main one. I was thinking replace the cone... i mean its just the actualy speaker i have to worry about right?

I just bought it like in December from the Dell deal. It should be under warranty. How hard is it to get a RMA from them?

oh, it shouldnt be that difficult to get it then. I was thinking more like a year or so. anyway, they should be easy to get an RMA from. Ive bought from them but never had to return anything. And ive bought from far smaller companies, and RMA has been a cinch. And Dell has a 24/7 number you can reach i think, compared to the smaller companies. That should help.
Wait...would I get an RMA from Dell or from Logitech?

if u bought the package from Dell... from Dell... even though the speakers are logitech.
If you bought the speakers separately... then from Logitech.

I bought the speakers from dell but not as a package with a computer. SO does that mean a RMA from Logitech?
