I'm picking up State of Emergency today after worky work(would have picked it up Friday, but Chick and I spent the weekend Valeniting in the city). Looks like a night of breaking and entering for me. :D

PLEASE post some sort of impressions of it if you wouldn't mind; I almost bought it on Thursday but passed, then on Friday I watched Gamespot's video review and the game looks decent but sounds like a really boring/plain and straightforward game after you pass the "shock" factor of it. Granted, GTA3 is a pure gift from the gaming gods, in terms of the greatness it has plus the fun factor and actual things you DO in the game, but it sounds like State Of Emergency has very very little in terms of actual gameplay and is moreso just an over-violent way to spend time doing little to nothing. :hmm:

GRANTED I haven't played it nor am I trying to say it sucks/doesn't suck, I'm just wondering what the game is like so I know whether or not to buy it. Seems like many people are comparing it to Final Fight and Streets Of Rage, but saying it's got more violence plus it's 3D and has only two buttons. :dodgy:

Anyone have any thoughts? I'll definitely check back to see if anyone posts their thoughts of it...
