The Segway scooters are up for auction at Amazon.com. Current bids are in the 19,000 dollar range:eek:.

So.. What happens if you run into a curb or something as to where the segway can't get under you again? Or the battery runs out instantly?

I wonder if they're gonna tour malls or something as a promotional thing to let the public try em out? I think it would sell better if there was a chance to try it before buying it.

Ya they're supposed to retail between $2,000 - $3,000 and should go on sale by the end of this year. Just in time for good ol' XMAS. But I guess if you're a rich bastard that doesn't like to walk NOW then this is cool. Just crazy how much people are paying for these things. You'd look so much cooler dropping $25,000 on a down payment for a bad ass car.
