This has to be the funniest piece of news in a while, my history professor alerted me to this article.

British troops on an exercise off the coast of spain landed on the shore during bad weather onto spanish soil. Technically they "invaded" spain. Shortly after realizing they were on spanish soil they promptly left.

Now that I think about it, it's a good thing they didn't land in France!
